Once upon a rainy day

... Greg and I tied the knot in an intimate gathering attended by family and friends. It was, to me, the most beautiful day to wake up to. There were funny anecdotes of forgotten rings and ripped stockings that only made the day even more memorable. Add to that the family and friends who spent their time with us with all their warm wishes of an interesting journey through life together.

Here's an Emily Dickinson poem that captures what I hope to continue giving Greg in the life that we now share.

It’s all I have to bring today
by Emily Dickinson

It’s all I have to bring today—
This, and my heart beside—
This, and my heart, and all the fields—
And all the meadows wide—
Be sure you count—should I forget
Some one the sum could tell—
This, and my heart, and all the Bees
Which in the Clover dwell.
