London walk and other bits

Just a quick review of what I’ve been up to lately.I was at the U.K. a few months back and was lucky to have found a free London walking tour among others. While in London I did most of the touristy things and did a little bit of off-the-beaten-track strolls. I didn’t really plan my weekend properly so it was just living and planning week by week. There were some pleasant surprises but if I get to be there again, I’ll make sure to do decent planning to get the most out of London. Why am I saying this?Because while there weren’t any solid plans while in London, I did have a good idea of what I intend to do in the days that I’m outside London. Went on a five-day road trip to see the countryside and immerse in nature, sea, and history. While there, I saw a part of Harry Potter’s Hogwarts, a church where a king was buried, a castle where a king was born, and a canal that would be an engineering feat. Outside London, I would also again meet Ivor Gurney’s work. At that time, I also made a quick decision to forego Oxford and spend the entire day instead at an eccentric man’s manor. On a more personal note, I was finally able to find me a suitable place that’s close enough that I can walk it and yet far enough to establish work-life separation. Other than that, I have just finished Kingdom Rush Frontiers, after a five-year break from gaming where the last game I played was Aveyond. As a closing note, I celebrated my birthday recently which makes me the oldest I’ve ever been so far.
